Daniela and our international partners has been one of the most rewarding professional experiences of my career. We planned activities together, exchanged ideas, solved unexpected challenges, celebrated every milestone and constantly learned from one another. work and celebrate the remarkable women who inspired this journey.
Although we come from different educational systems and cultures, we quickly realised that we share the same goal: giving our students learning experiences that they will remember long after they leave our classrooms. That sense of teamwork is something I will always value.
Our Greatest Achievement: The HerStory eBook When we began the project, we knew we wanted to leave behind something that would last.
Instead of producing a traditional final report, we created a collaborative digital HerStory Across Borders eBook. Every participating school contributed with student research, original texts, illustrations, artwork, multimedia presentations and reflections, creating a publication that celebrates inspiring women.
A Teacher ' s Guide for Future Classrooms As the project developed, we realised that its impact shouldn ' t end when the final meeting was over. That is why Daniela guided us to create a Teacher ' s Guide to accompany the eBook. It is designed by teachers for teachers, it offers practical classroom activities, discussion prompts, interdisciplinary project ideas, and adaptable lesson suggestions that can be used across different subjects and age groups.
Looking through its pages today, I don ' t just see completed activities. I see months of collaboration, students encouraging one another, teachers sharing ideas and a community that grew stronger with every activity.
