Eugenia Olguța Cotulbea has been an English teacher for 23 years at the " Mihai Viteazul " Theoretical High School in Caracal, Romania, and she has been implementing eTwinning projects since 2022; the experiences she has shared with dedicated people have motivated her to consider continuing to run such projects.
Sometimes the best ideas do not come from teachers – they come from students.
Last school year, my eighth graders, mostly girls, asked me a simple question:“ Teacher, when are we going to have another eTwinning project?” Their excitement made me smile, but it also made me reflect. They were not asking for just another assignment; they were asking for another opportunity to learn differently, collaborate with students from other countries, create something meaningful and experience learning beyond the classroom walls.
