encourage critical thinking, creativity and responsible participation in digital environments.
The project also reflected the principles of LifeComp, supporting students in developing self-awareness, resilience, empathy, collaboration and the ability to learn throughout life. Working with European peers required flexibility, openness and respect for different perspectives.
At the same time, DriVETrain Career Compass promoted the entrepreneurial mindset described in EntreComp. Students learned to recognise opportunities, generate ideas, take initiative and transform challenges into possible solutions.
These frameworks were not presented as theories. They became visible through students ' actions.
Technology as a Bridge, Not a Substitute Technology played a central role in connecting classrooms across Europe, but it always remained a tool for human interaction and creativity. Through TwinSpace, students shared ideas, documented their progress and collaborated with international partners. Platforms such as Google Docs, Padlet, Wakelet and Digipad supported real-time cooperation, while tools including Canva, Genially, Gamma, Emaze and Renderforest allowed students to create professional digital content. Gamification tools such as Kahoot!, Quizizz and Wordwall increased motivation
and transformed assessment into an active learning experience.
Artificial Intelligence was introduced as a creative opportunity, but also as a responsibility. Students experimented with tools such as HeyGen and Craiyon while discussing important questions: How can AI support creativity? How can we use it ethically? How can we protect personal data and respect intellectual property?
These reflections connected the project with the principles of the European AI Act, promoting transparency, responsibility and human-centred innovation.
Students learned that being digitally competent also means understanding the impact of technology on society.
A European Community of Learners The strength of DriVETrain Career Compass came from genuine collaboration. Teachers from all partner schools co-designed activities, assessment strategies and learning resources through online meetings, shared documents and continuous communication.
