Second, it supports innovation because the exchange of ideas encourages experimentation with new teaching approaches. Third, members develop their digital competence by improving their ability to use digital tools in educational contexts. Fourth, the community strengthens European educational cooperation by encouraging participation in European programmes. Finally, it empowers teachers to become active contributors to and producers of educational knowledge.
