Agnes Ildico Costea is a qualified educator specialising in primary and preschool education, with 10 years of experience as a primary school teacher and 23 years as a preschool teacher; currently, she serves as an early childhood education teacher at Stănescu Valerian Technological High School in Târnava. With 33 years of service in the education system, she holds the highest teaching rank and a Master’ s degree in Educational Management. She is a member of the National Corps of Experts in Educational Management. Additionally, she is an active eTwinning member, involved in numerous international projects, such as " Unity in Diversity ", " I Think, I Create, I Change through STEAM ", " Eratosthenes Project ", " Our Winter Habits " and " The Harmony of Nature ", serving as a founder, partner, collaborator, initiator, coordinator, or volunteer. Drawing on her leadership experience, she serves as an SPSC Global Ambassador and participates in global EDX programs, including " A Walk Through Education – The Global Intellectual Exchange ", " Global Ambassadors of Sustainability: Eco-Leaders of Tomorrow – Green Horizons & Future Skills ", " Global Forum for Teacher Educators " and " The Institution of Green Engineers – IGEN ", actively engaging as both a speaker and a member of the global educational community.
Twelve Scenes, Two Countries, One Stage: A True eTwinning – Erasmus Collaboration by Marilina Lonigro
Everything started in June 2025, when Caroline Remont, a French eTwinner from the Collège René Nicklès at Dommartemont near Nancy, arrived at my school for a job-shadowing mobility. We immediately connected over our shared passion for European values and a mutual, eye-opening observation: our students knew very little about the history and founding principles of the European Union. Determined to make this heritage meaningful, we envisioned an ambitious eTwinning project that would go far beyond textbooks. Our students would not just research European history; they would“ relive” it by writing, directing, and staging an original theatre production from scratch. By late June, we had already mapped out the project phases, and by September, our joint teaching team was fully assembled and ready to set the plan in motion.
Both schools had enough Erasmus Plus funding for a two-way mobility, but to ensure the project became a deep, sustained learning journey rather than a pair of isolated trips, we decided to create an eTwinning project.
