Cristina Andrei is a preschool teacher and project coordinator at Școala Gimnazială Nr. 3 Voluntari in Romania, where she also serves as methodologist for early education on ISJ ILFOV. She coordinates eTwinning projects on STEAM, sustainability and intercultural learning and is currently completing her Grade I teaching qualification.
European Horizons: When School Becomes Active Citizenship – # EUValuesInPractice by Cira Serio
In every pupil’ s educational journey, there comes a moment when abstract concepts turn into concrete experiences. In the eTwinning project European Horizons: Nurturing Citizenship through eTwinning, this transformation occurred daily thanks to the collaboration among five partner schools, three of which are eTwinning Schools: the Scuola Paritaria Primaria“ San Tarcisio” and the nursery school“ Bimbi Lieti” in Ercolano( Italy), Shkolla Nentevjecare“ Ilia Qiqi” in Burrel( Albania), and ICS“ Giovanni XXIII” in Baiano( Italy). The other two partner schools are ICS“ Volponi‐Pascoli” in Urbino( Italy) and Shkolla Fillore“ Lekë Dukagjini” in Prizren( Kosovo).
