Through activities grounded in STEAM principles( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), digital education, and inquiry-based methods, the project offered an authentic, hands-on, interdisciplinary, cross-border, and collaborative learning experience. Students engaged in continuous learning and became active participants in their own educational journey. We believe in small steps that change the world! The project transformed the daily habits of preschoolers and students into ecofriendly, healthy, and sustainable lifestyles by fostering a clean and sustainable environment.
The project’ s objectives were to create a collaborative learning environment by connecting preschoolers, students, and teachers from different countries via digital platforms; to raise student awareness; to encourage innovation and creativity; and to highlight the damage caused to the planet. The joint activities carried out within the project also contributed to developing our students ' digital, STEAM, and linguistic skills, as well as their ability to view things from different perspectives and their awareness of global citizenship.
The project combined initiative and an entrepreneurial spirit with the responsibility of environmental volunteering and protection, adopting a sustainable development approach. Students from the participating European schools developed a wide range of activities, both national and international, and created an interactive network of actions that fostered a sense of respect and care for nature. At the project ' s conclusion, teachers created an online magazine showcasing best practices, reflecting the fruits of their successful collaboration. They enhanced their professional development by employing new pedagogical approaches and technological tools. Each of us designed a project logo and voted for the best one, leaving no room for ambiguity. Tasks were allocated to schools based on selfselection and mutual agreement. We held online meetings via Zoom, scheduled through the eTwinning platform, and established a partner community group on Facebook to discuss details. Students from different countries collaborated to create PowerPoint presentations and videos centered on the project themes. The final outputs served as a measure of the project ' s success. Special themed days provided opportunities to organise symbolic activities that contributed to positive changes within the schools. Every day brought a new discovery – a fresh chance to learn, thrive, and infuse the day with excitement!
