PhD Nataša Ljubić Klemše is a primary school teacher and excellent teacher adviser at I. osnovna škola Bjelovar. She launched the first eTwinning project in Bjelovar-Bilogora County in 2011 and has been an eTwinning ambassador since 2014. She has coordinated eTwinning and Erasmus + projects, mentored educators and contributed to professional learning at national and European levels. Her doctoral research explores the relationship between teachers ' motivation to use digital technology and their attitudes towards professional development. She has received numerous National and European Quality Labels, seven national Awards for the Most Successful Educational Worker and the 2023 Ivan Filipović Annual Award.
Working with Parents in eTwinning Projects for a Sustainable Future by Sanja Sajko
Parents are important partners in the educational process, and eTwinning projects offer many opportunities for their active involvement in the life and work of the kindergarten. Through joint activities, children, parents and educators create a stimulating learning environment, develop a sense of community, and build quality relationships based on cooperation and mutual trust.
Involving parents in eTwinning projects begins as early as the stage of introducing them to the project goals and planned activities. Through regular communication via parent meetings, information boards and digital platforms, parents become active participants in the project process. Their support and participation connect the kindergarten and family environments and further enrich children ' s learning experiences.
A particularly valuable example of cooperation was achieved during this year ' s eTwinning project“ The Journey of the Cardboard Box”. The project focused on developing awareness of sustainability, a responsible attitude towards the environment, and the possibilities of reusing materials we use every day.
