Special recognition should be given to the project founder, Stefania Altieri, whose outstanding support was instrumental in enabling my former Class 2. b to achieve this significant accomplishment. projects, enabling us to host groups of students from these countries. In addition, our school was successful in obtaining Erasmus + funding for the 2025 / 2026 school year.
My favourite project has just recently come to an end. Its title was“ Let Us Collaborate on Deepening Empathy!”, and the project founder was Camelia Timofte. The project was initiated as a result of an Erasmus + mobility visit. A group of Romanian students visited our school while Code Week activities were taking place. It was during this visit that Camelia and I decided to launch a joint project.
This project involved not only my fourthgrade students but also learners from the upper grades. In addition, members of our robotics club, highly talented students, delivered special sessions for the visiting students, both in person and online.
This project also provided an opportunity for Újpesti Csokonai Vitéz Mihály Primary and Secondary School to become a base institution of the Educational Authority. During a professional development day, I presented the project activities carried out by my students, and following this presentation, the Authority invited our school to take on this role.
This project most likely contributed to our school being approached by foreign schools from Romania, Türkiye, and Italy that were participating in Erasmus +
Why we like this project? The students and teachers of Újpesti Csokonai loved this project. They enthusiastically participated in the various tasks. We were especially happy when we showed our partner school during a webinar during the European Code Week why robotics is our favourite. That ' s when we became true robot friends. Thank you, Camelia, for your enthusiasm and guidance! Let us Collaborate On Deepening Empathy! | European School Education Platform
