Student reflections In the final survey, students shared that they loved meeting peers from other countries, learned new ways to save water, and felt more confident using English and digital tools. Many described the project as fun, creative, and eye-opening – a learning experience that made them feel part of a larger European community.
Celebrating success Each school organized a small ceremony where students received Certificates of Participation. The project concluded with a Genially game featuring“ magical drops” created by students, each hiding a message about making a positive difference. The Romanian team proudly celebrated their achievements, proving once again that every gesture counts, and that young learners can become ambassadors for a sustainable future.
Each Drop Counts showed that environmental education becomes more powerful when lived together. Through creativity, technology, and international collaboration, students learned that every action matters, just like every drop.
Digital tools that connected us Technology played a central role in bringing students together. Tools such as Google Meet, Google Docs, Miro, StoryJumper, Canva, Kahoot, Genially, Padlet, ChatterPix, and resources from La Digitale supported creativity, collaboration, and safe participation. Digital spaces became the place where students learned, created, and connected.
Raluca Gheorghiu has been a school librarian for two decades, working closely with students of all ages and guiding them through meaningful learning experiences. Her focus is to connect her learners with the wider international community, helping them discover shared interests, collaborate across borders, and grow as confident, curious global citizens.
