The learning tasks were organized on three levels of increasing complexity: at the class level( creating their own mascot, their own mythological vase), in international teams of two schools( Mirror of Persephone, Vase of Light and Shadow, When Athena and Poseidon Built a City) and in large groups, of four international teams( When the Earth Smiles and When It Sleeps, where four teams painted simultaneously, in real time, on the same digital canvas, one season each). This alternation between individual work, in pairs and in large groups allowed each child to experience collaboration at different scales, from direct interaction with a single friend from another country, to the feeling of being part of a larger collective effort, at the level of the 16 partner kindergartens.
The children ' s interest and involvement were supported by a progressive narrative thread, like a " treasure hunt ": at the end of each chapter, Gaia offered the children a symbolic " magic key ", transforming participation into a mission with stakes and rewards, not a simple sequence of activities. Thus, the children were put in the position of active protagonists of their
own training, and the synchronous digital activities transformed collaboration from an abstract concept into a concrete experience, visible on the monitor.
Correlation with the experiential domains of the curriculum The structure of the four mythological chapters allowed a systematic correlation with all the experiential domains of the Curriculum for Early Childhood Education, while at the same time being a direct application of its methodological principles- game-based learning, individualization and alternating forms of activity organization( frontal, in small groups, in pairs and individually), visible even in the way the activities were conceived, from the creation individual interpretation of the mythological vase to international teams of four kindergartens.
• Language and Communication – adapted mythological stories( Demeter and Persephone, Athena and Poseidon, Apollo and Artemis) were used directly in language education activities, to practice storytelling, formulate their own riddles( Forest Prints & Hidden Whispers) and enrich thematic vocabulary; audio recordings made by children( Vineyard of Friendship, messages for Gaia) strengthened oral expression and confidence in communication.
• Science – activated through real experiments integrated into environmental knowledge activities: observing the growth of seeds in light and darkness(" Where did the light go?"), investigating the properties of water( Poseidon ' s Water Lab), which strengthened observation skills, formulating hypotheses and notes results.
