Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2026 Newsletter learning environment with equal opportunities for all students, regardless of socio-economic and cultural background.
The goal is to defend diversity and develop critical thinking and democratic awareness. The kindergarten teacher designs activities that incorporate different cultural perspectives, so that children understand that knowledge is influenced by cultural values. Multicultural education requires differentiation in the program to meet the needs of all children and enhance learning( Penteri et al., 2022).
Group work, participation in projects and interaction with children from other countries contribute to the“ opening” of the kindergarten to society and to contact with different cultures, enhancing mutual understanding( Essinger, 1991).
The concept of empowerment is directly linked to the design and implementation of this particular eTwinning project. Through experiential, collaborative and creative activities, children were not limited to the role of passive recipients of knowledge, but actively participated in shaping the learning process. Therefore, in the context of the present study, empowerment is approached as a process of active participation and highlighting children ' s potential.
