them feel part of a community. They trusted me. And I trusted them.
It is not just a project platform. It is a space of growth, a network of opportunities, and a source of inspiration.
A New Beginning: Starting Again When Everything Felt Difficult In the last 5 years, my journey took an unexpected turn: I changed schools.
Starting again from the beginning was far more difficult than I imagined. New colleagues, new routines, new expectations, and, at first, almost no students who knew me or trusted me. I felt like I had lost the solid ground I had built over many years.
That trust became the seed of a new beginning.
I am proud to share that I have recently completed a truly special and challenging course— an experience that pushed me beyond my comfort zone and enriched my professional journey in unexpected ways. Throughout this learning path, I gained valuable insights, practical strategies, and fresh perspectives that I am eager to bring into my work with eTwinners and fellow teachers.
But eTwinning taught me something essential: you can start even from one student.
The day before Christmas, when the school was quiet and almost empty, one student showed up, just one, ready to follow me, curious about what we could create together. That moment changed everything. It reminded me that meaningful change does not require a crowd; it requires connection.
From that single student, a small group began to grow. They were lonely, unsure, and searching for something that made
