Children entered their names into the program, and it generated real satellite images of Earth in which landforms, clouds, and coastlines shaped the letters of their names. Seeing your own initial drawn by the planet itself from thousands of kilometers above was a profound experience that made children feel that their signature truly matters in the great book of nature. learned to communicate effectively, collaborate in international teams, think critically, solve problems, and use digital technology responsibly. At the same time, they practiced empathy, environmental awareness, and initiative.
Moreover, the international partnership strengthened the idea of a global community in which children from different countries learn from one another, inspire each other, and discover that fundamental values are universal: respect, responsibility, and the desire to protect the Earth.
Looking back, we can say that each activity was a seed of knowledge planted in the children’ s hearts, and these seeds will continue to grow into responsible adults aware of their role in society.
Little Guardians of Nature thus remains a story about childhood, nature, and hope, a story that continues in every student who chose to say: I will take care of the Earth.
Little Guardians of Nature was not just a project, but a way of life that children will carry with them forward. Through this experience, students proved that learning becomes truly meaningful when it is lived, not only taught. She has been an active eTwinner since 2021, participating in various international eTwinning projects focused on collaboration, innovation, and student-centered learning. Her professional interests include developing cross-curricular activities and fostering digital and intercultural competencies in young learners.
