Children exchanged greetings and everyday expressions in Croatian, Turkish, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, Greek, French, and English, discovering that every language reflects a unique culture while communication brings people together.
Our final collaborative ebook: a journey through friendship and learning Every meaningful journey deserves a story, and our story is captured in the project ' s final collaborative eBook. It is a digital record of an unforgettable year of learning, creativity and international cooperation. It brings together the work of pupils and teachers from all partner schools, celebrating the achievements of our international learning community. It showcases the project ' s most memorable activities and many joyful moments shared throughout the school year.
Our final eBook is not simply the conclusion of the project— it is the beginning of memories that pupils will carry long after the project has ended, reminding them that although they live in different countries, they are all part of one European learning community. part was seeing how the project opened their hearts and minds to one another. They became interested in their friends’ lives, traditions and stories.
The project also gave teachers the opportunity to collaborate, exchange ideas and support each other while exploring new ways of making learning more creative and meaningful.
Looking back, I believe the true success of this journey is not only found in the digital products we created, but in the confidence, friendships and understanding our pupils gained. They discovered that every hometown has a story, every child has a voice, and learning together can bring people closer— no matter where they come from.
Tina Parać is an English and Italian teacher at OŠ Kneza Trpimira, Croatia, passionate about innovative teaching and international collaboration. Since joining eTwinning in 2017, she has successfully led and participated in projects recognised with National and European Quality Labels, including the 2025 COMET Award-winning project“ Animal Mode”.
