NEWSTEAD BELMONT HILLS GOLF COURSE A 6,100-yard layout designed by Algie Pulley that opened in 2002 , Belmont Hills offers a challenging test of players of all skill levels . While you ’ re out there , soak up panoramic views of Hamilton Harbour and the Great Sound . The course itself features strategically laid out bunkers , multi-tiered greens , and slender fairways . Don ’ t be fooled by the short length . It has bite , and for $ 110 a round , provides solid value .
FIVE FORTS GOLF CLUB Part of Marriott ’ s St . Regis Bermuda Resort , Five Forts is a par-62 Robert Trent Jones Jr . design that is flanked by Bermuda ’ s five historic forts , including the well-known Fort St . Catherine . The course tips out at a modest 4,043 yards , but the views are the real attraction here . The daily rate is $ 225 .
