What memory do you take away from this season?
The 100th VSGA Women’ s Amateur was a defining moment for me this season. My father was on my bag for the qualifying round— his steady presence and quiet belief in me set the tone. My younger brother Gavin caddied the championship rounds, which made my victory all the sweeter.
My mother’ s presence and support on course for the final were also incredibly exhilarating … Keswick members, pros and staff cheered and celebrated. With much gratitude, winning this tournament will always be memorable.
What are your golf goals for 2026? With Q-School 1 and 2 behind me, I’ ve earned Epson Tour status, and I’ m looking forward to playing in some professional competitions in 2026 and working hard to continue on the“ Road to the LPGA.” Equally important, I recently completed my master’ s, and I’ m excited to share that I’ ve joined The Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation. Their mission to empower youth, support nature and health initiatives, and advance the game of golf truly resonates with me.
What golf ball do you play and how do you mark it? I play the Titleist Pro V1x, always the red-numbered 2’ s and 3’ s. I add the opposite digit so every ball reads 23. It’ s the day I was born and my childhood basketball jersey number because it makes me think of Michael Jordan and game winning shots! On the blank side of the ball, I draw a tiny black star. It’ s an ode to my Wake Forest golf coach, Kim Lewellen, who called me“ Sky-Light” to remind me I am relentlessly positive, a shining ray of light and exude optimism no matter the storm.
What is your favorite course in Virginia? The Full Cry golf course at Keswick Golf Club. It’ s a course that always requires strategic thinking and play … As a long hitter, I appreciate the mix of holes and designs … and Pete Dye’ s signature small bunkers keep my rounds challenging and engaging.
Who is the golfer you admire the most? I had the opportunity to go behind the ropes following Lexi Thompson [ at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship ]. I walked alongside Lexi’ s mom, who shared stories of her daughter’ s golf journey with me. After watching her take Poppy’ s Plunge [ for winning ], I knew I wanted to be just like her. I continue to work hard to emulate her swing and power, but the human side of Lexi is what I admire most. She’ s played under a microscope since she was a teenager, yet she still shows up with that megawatt smile, patient, generous and hardworking.
