WHAT WAS YOUR PERSONAL HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR ? A tie between : 1 . Winning the 64th Eastern Amateur as a local guy with my Dad caddying . Had a bunch of friends come out and support which is something I ’ ll always remember . 2 . Birdieing the last two holes to win the Virginia State Open by one shot and having my Dad be the president of the VSGA and be part of the trophy presentation as well as friends and family coming out to support .
WHAT IS A FUN FACT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU ? I ’ ve played in three pickleball tournaments this year .
BEST ADVICE / TIP YOU HAVE RECEIVED FROM A COACH OR PROFESSIONAL ? Butch Liebler taught me a lot of what I know about golf and the golf swing but I think the best tip he ever gave me was to try the claw putting grip .
WHAT GOLF GOALS DO YOU HAVE IN 2022 ? Win the VSGA Amateur .
