Not wanting to look like “total newbies” at their very first scheduled show, they decided to make sure they could successfully set up and pack down the van and the display by creating their very own family event that they called the “Mothers Day Caravan & Camping Classic” at a free campground in Bowenville Reserve, about twenty minutes away from home. “The interest in our little van was amazing and everyone there wandered over to look at and talk to us about our van. What an awesome weekend! We couldn’t wait for Cooly Rocks On to come around”, Deanna recalls. “With Cooly weekend looming we loaded up Miss Adelaide (with almost as much weight in accessories and knickknacks as the van weighs according to my Hubby) and headed down the Range to Coolangatta to setup on Friday, all ready for a fantastic weekend.
