I love seeing the smiles on people’s faces after they have looked inside and are stepping out of the trailer. It makes me feel like I have spread a little joy around. until I finally decided to make it so that her dinette table could be set up on the side of the trailer and I made to single beds inside and took out the overhead bunk which made it feel so much more spacious inside. At one time I had made a permanent King sized bed and everyone would comment on the giant bed and asked how many people could sleep in it. At one camp out we actually had four of us in that bed! I went on my maiden voyage just a few weeks after getting Sassy. I took my nieces and nephew to a campground for Spring Break that was about twenty miles away. It was pouring down rain the whole time but we stayed snug inside and ventured out to roast marshmallows when the rain would die down a bit. My dad was so nervous about us being out alone that he drove to the campground every morning and evening to check on us as there was no cell phone service. My dad has since passed away so this is a very fond memory for me. Even though it rained for most of the time it felt so great to have taken her out, which really made her feel like she was now really mine. vintagecaravanmagazine | 19
