Sassy was missing all of the cushions and she
was also missing half of her bunk bed. She needed a
new fridge and new water lines. She was missing her
signature “S” magazine rack and she was also missing
her wings and Shasta logo. I was pretty shocked at how
much it would cost to buy wings for her and that they
were hard to find. I finally found a pair on Ebay that I
got for $200. I was also lucky enough to find the metal
Shasta logo for $65. They were easy to put on because
all the originally screw holes were there. I had so much
fun sewing new curtains, making a new quilt and throw
pillows and painting the inside and of course I had to
do some fun painting on the outside. Because Sassy’s
original orange slash was on the outside, I went with
primary colors that went with orange. Of course I ran
with the flamingo theme as well. Most of my ideas I got
from magazines and online sites.
I like to paint and thought it would be cool to paint a
pic of me riding the well known camping bird, a big pink
flamingo. I have changed Sassy’s interior a few times
