Writing Hampshire Project
What is an LFRMS?
The ‘Writing Hampshire’ project encourages
people to explore and enjoy the creative
writing of residents and visitors alike,
inspired by a location. Writers are being
asked to submit their own poems on the
website for possible selection, and readers
can leave their comments about the work.
Poems can be uploaded online now at

Evans-Jones will be holding a ‘Writing
Hampshire’ workshop at the Winchester
Discovery Centre on Saturday 20th October,
offering help and advice to those who would
like to take part.
From September, Hampshire

Lengthsman scheme coming to
you this Autumn!
If ten parishes work together, we can set up
a lengthsman scheme for the area. Local
Parishes will be joining together to see how
we can start the scheme, with an officer to
advise us how to go about it. This has the
potential to deal with all of those problems
which never seem to get solved: drainage,
hedges cut, grass alongside roads, and
overgrown paths etc. I hope we can get the
