Kohl Herman( Stefanie’ s BFF)“ Get out while you can” Kohl enjoyed his Karimunjawa trip with his Biology class. He will miss his friends, his house, and going to Frame,( a local café in Salatiga). As he attends Eastern Washington University, he is excited for something new: meeting his sisters and experiencing freedom. However, he worries about a lack of motivation. Kohl is uncertain of his future but rather focuses on the present. He predicts that Jose Fallas will get married first in his class.
Sarah Gmyrek( Athletic Star)“ Hang out with yours friends” Winning Basketball IISSAC in Surabaya and going to Bali for her s e n i o r tr i p w ere s pecial memories for Sarah. Out of the many things, Sarah will miss her best friend Eli Heidenreich the most. She is excited to get to be with her brother again in college. On the downside, she has to do school work again. She is unsure of her plans in the future, but she bets that her classmate Angela will get married first.
Natasha Busono( Different and Accepting)“ Don’ t let people determine who you are, what you should believe. Find out the truth yourself, and let others help you” Natasha loves seeing people come to faith in Jesus thanks to the Christian community, but at the same time, she gets disappointed by people who lose their faith because of other Christians. She will her miss awesome friends and teachers at Mountainview. Natasha is going to Australia for college. She looks forward to the adventure of living in Australia for the first time as she trusts God to protect and provide for her throughout her journey. In 20 years, Natasha hopes to be in the Pura Group Company, working as an art therapist and helping kids with problems due to traumatic events.
Jose Fallas( Approachable, Loving, Leader)“ Do not withhold good from others, when they deserve it, if it’ s in your power to act” – Prov. 3:27 Jose’ s favorite moments in MICS are his senior trip to Bali and to Solo, bus rides from Surabaya following ISSAAC basketball tournament, and his Madura service trip. He will miss talking to his underclassmen, leading small groups, giving hugs whenever he wants to and being seen as a buff, athletic star. In college, Jose wants to grow in the knowledge of Christ and his relationship with God. In 20 years, Jose plans to get married and have at least four kids, speak five different languages fluently, and live for God wherever he is.

Alexa Challandes( Helpful Confidante)“ Have fun and Don’ t Procrastinate” Alexa remembered her first night in the dorm as a scary experience. However, after a while, she found the dorm to be a fun place with amazing dorm sisters. She assumes college to be challenging because of the new responsibilities and lack of sleep. However, she is excited for fresh adventures in college. She is probably going to teach English in 20 years wherever she will be.
