HR Connections- More than HR: Insights for Every Leader
Since 2015, this open forum for local HR leaders & business owners to network and discuss topics & trends involving workforce development and employment-related issues. Discover fresh perspectives and practical strategies while connecting with peers and other business leaders. Participants will benefit from expert presentations on relevant business and employment issues.

Northeast Metro Young Professionals Program( NMYP)
This unique year-long cohort engages current and emerging leaders who are committed to personal growth, career advancement, civic engagement, and service to the northeast metro region. Each cohort averages approximately 15 people. Selected participants range between the ages of 21 to 35 and come from all sectors and industries.
Initiated in 2017, the program has gained an excellent reputation and attracted outstanding participants and award winners.
Partners for Good – Northeast Nonprofit Collaborative
Partners for Good has been meeting since 2017, building strong social and professional connections for nonprofit leaders in the northeast metro.
Nonprofit organizations participating include Newtrax, the White Bear Lake Emergency Food Shelf, Lakeshore Players, the White Bear Center for the Arts, Vadnais Lake Area Water Management Organization( VLAWMO), Solid Ground, Northeast Youth and Family Services, PAI, Merrick, Inc., Children’ s Performing Arts, White Bear Lake Historical Society, H2O for Life, and many more. Approximately 25 individuals are participating this season, with 10-15 attending each event.
Special Speaker Events
Watch for details in 2026! Local, regional, and national speakers, including the Federal Reserve, Women in Leadership events, and so much more! Also, VHEDC member subject matter experts. Examples include Commercial Real Estate Trends, Demand Side Management and Energy Efficiency, Finance Industry Trends, Ramsey County’ s Economic Inclusion Plan, Construction Industry Trends, Vadnais City Staff – Meet the Community, start-up resources and more!
