NMYP IS CELEBRATING ITS 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
VHEDC launched the year-long leadership program in 2017 with a goal to connect and develop emerging leaders, current leaders and future leaders in the North Metro. Over the past decade under the leadership of Nancy Hoglund, President of Hoglund Coaching, LLC, it has become a whole lot more.
“ One of the things I think that is so cool about the program is the exceptional results that participants are creating for themselves- during the cohort and after,” she said.“ Participants get promoted, some serve in senior leadership roles, others have become business owners and elected officials.
In 2025, for example, there was a lot of focus on emotional intelligence,“ I want to give a shout out to participants. They really take the training and relationships they make seriously. There is a high degree of application,” said Hoglund.

They are creating a stronger and more purposeful network. They are engaging with a variety of community leaders and organizations. Plus, they are getting a broader sense of learning. Going deeper and challenging each other for growth.”
