So, thank you VHEDC for recognizing our work,” said Ethel Garcia, Vice President, Human Resources for Innovize.
The VHEDC Community Partnership Award
The final award granted the evening of November 13, 2025, was the VHEDC Community Partnership Award. It recognizes collaborative partners that help the VHEDC to advance its mission of ensuring a prosperous local business economy in Vadnais Heights and the surrounding areas.
The 2025 winner is the City of Vadnais Heights, which was recognized for its collaborative spirit that supports local nonprofits, offers opportunities for
young professionals and provides a good quality of life for the people who live and work in the city.
While accepting the award, City Administrator Kevin Watson said,“ Thank you to VHEDC for your partnership and leadership with the business community. We couldn’ t achieve what we’ re able to accomplish without VHEDC and their connection to all the businesses that participate. Thank you also to our current and past City Councils for their leadership. Lastly, thank you also to staff. We have a great team.”
The evening wrapped up with these words from VHEDC Executive Director Liz Moscatelli who said,“ I want to congratulate the award winners and thank all the businesses that support us as partner investors all year long.”
