After Moe’ s presentation, VHEDC President Megan Dohmen came up on stage to announce the winners of the 2025 awards. Dohmen is also the Vice- President of Frandsen Bank & Trust, one of the event’ s major sponsors.
The Keith Warner Standard of Excellence Award
Named in honor of a former director of the VHEDC, the Keith Warner Standard of Excellence Award is given to a business that has shown a singular degree of excellence in the areas of business success, philanthropy and community service. The winner of the 2025 award is Royal Credit Union, which was recognized for its exceptional commitment to the future workforce and community vitality through direct engagement with area students.
Through its Test Drive Program, Royal Credit Union gives high school students a real-life simulation of how to manage money and finances. The company also offers internships that provide opportunities for young people to learn and grow.
