Lockdown Sonnet
Millie Winter - Year 8
Life was normal until disease did creep , constraining us to a familiar prison . Knowledge of boredom , stress and sleep loomed over us , an omnipresent figure . Summer months normally full of energy whilst children who play raucously are now soothed , a gentle tide full of lethargy which flows through the whole world and brings sorrow . However , nature gives so much delight , as luscious trees bring comfort to our world , bird song fills you with a feeling so bright when light rays from the glowing sun unfurl . We have learnt that nature is enthralling But we thrive with the nature of talking .
