Fantastic 46 Hour Book Sale
The Winhall Memorial Library will be having a huge book sale starting October 25 at 6pm and going straight through to Sunday at 4pm . Bring your flashlight if you are shopping after dark ! The sale will take place in the tent set up in the side yard of the library located at 2 Lower Taylor Hill Road , Winhall , VT . The sale has two goals : to rehome the weeded and donated books to make room for new titles , and to raise funds . The Winhall Memorial Library is an independent library with a portion of the budget coming from the towns of Winhall and Stratton .
The library is housed in a historic one-room schoolhouse . As a small-town library , the hours are limited to Tuesday and Thursday from 10am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-12pm . The advantage of being an independent library is that you do not have to be a resident to have a library card and check out books from the collection . The library catalog is available on the website along with events , including the monthly book discussion . For more , go to WinhallMemorialLibrary . org .
