The Warren Skatepark is now back open to the public with its new and improved smooth concrete surface , which connects all existing features . Barth shares that his favorite features from the park include a quarter pipe with a granite extension painted to look like a wave and “ The Doorway ,” a quarter pipe that arches over an open doorway . “ One of the best things about Warren is that it ’ s a D . I . Y . skatepark , so it ’ s always evolving and growing ,” Barth notes . The park wouldn ’ t be what it is today without skaters putting the work in with support from the town of Warren and the greater Mad River Valley community . The park is truly a reflection of the local community coming together to shape their own space to skate .”
