What brought you here ?
I grew up around the area but ended up moving here because of my husband . I went to Keene State College to obtain my bachelors in both Health Science and Nursing . I did my college preceptorship at Springfield Hospital and decided this was where I wanted to start my career .
What keeps you here ?
I love working for a small hospital where people know you and care about you on a genuine level . I have the pleasure of calling some of the best nurses , doctors , technicians , housekeepers , social workers , registrars , and managers , my coworkers . I feel as if we are not only friends , we ’ ve become family ; that ’ s why I stay at Springfield Hospital .
I ’ ve lived in Vermont my whole life . Not much has surprised me weather wise . The summers can be hot and the winters are cold !
What are some of your favorite places ? What do you do in your spare time ?
I really enjoy going on walks , visiting yard sales , sports , spending time with my family ( and pup ), and thrift shopping ! The bike path is a happening place in the Spring , Summer , and Fall . I love seeing all the people getting out and walking / running / biking ! I ’ ve also seen they ’ re having concerts in town recently . I haven ’ t been to one yet , but they look fun and it ’ s on my “ to do list !”
