What brought you to Vermont ?
The outdoor lifestyle and the people . I love nature and grew up playing in the outdoors : hiking , camping , paddling , skiing , and biking . While living in my home state of Connecticut , I had the chance to visit Vermont often . With each visit , I never wanted to leave ! The people were warm and welcoming . When an opportunity was offered to relocate to Vermont , I took a chance and moved where I felt I could pursue my life passions .
What keeps you here ?
The same things that brought me here . There are unique career opportunities in Vermont . I am grateful for having the chance to blend my strengths and work experience with a passion for introducing people to what I love – in both of my jobs as a marketer and part-time ski instructor . I ’ ve always wanted to coach sports , and itch to get outside at every chance , so it ’ s the best of both worlds . Plus , Vermont is simply stunning - with mountains , rolling hills , clean lakes and scenic views at every turn . The outdoor recreation , relaxed pace , environmental and other social values of Vermonters are also part of what draws me here . I love where I live , work and play !
