In 2021 Shirley Matlock received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Howard County Association of Realtors as well as the RE / MAX Lifetime Achievement Award . She is the past President of the Howard County Association of Realtors .

1992
David Burrows ’ 92 ’ 94 ’ 95 ’ 99M is a database engineer with the Technical and Management Assistance Corporation ( recently acquired by ManTech International Corporation ). He was honored at a company banquet with the individual “ Above and Beyond ” award and the team “ Making The Difference ” award , for his dedication , unwavering commitment and significant contributions to the organization ' s goals and mission .
1996
Jill Centofanti ( Yanke ) has worked in the admissions office at McDaniel College for more than 20 years , and was recently promoted to Dean of Admissions . In her new role , she has oversight of the college ' s overall admissions efforts . Centofanti joined the college as Associate Director of Admissions in 2001 and most recently led the admissions operations team as the Executive Director of Admissions Operations and Technology .

Lisa Balk ( Sullivan ) joined Cerro Coso Community College in Southern California as an Associate Professor of Nursing .
2002
Lori Elgert ( Fabiano ) and husband , Adam , celebrated the third birthday of son , Leo Anthony , in January .
2003
Sinead Boyd ( Kayser ) has been named the next principal of Good Shepherd School in Perryville , Md ., effective July 1 . She has worked at the school since 2012 in a variety of roles including lead teacher , religion coordinator , Middle States accreditation internal coordinator , as well as having served on several school and parish committees , and has led many youthoriented events , including the March for Life and the annual diocesan cross pilgrimage .

Vanessa Eluma was recently promoted to Chief of Staff to the CEO at T . Rowe Price . Previously she was the Vice President , Head of Variable Annuity Field Distribution .
2006
Amy Rogers ( Hollomon ) is the Resource and Staffing Engagement Manager at Fearless , a full stack digital services firm in Baltimore .
Melissa Salkeld ( Ragon ) received a $ 25,000 Milken Educator Award in a surprise assembly on May 17 . A kindergarten teacher at Prettyboy Elementary School , Salkeld was honored for her unique combination of high expectations and heartfelt dedication that encourages social , emotional and academic growth in her young learners .
2008
Matthew “ Matt ” Seiler was recently appointed as the Director for the Career Connection Center at SU . As a member of the Career Connections staff for five years , he first served as the Coordinator for Marketing and Events , and was promoted to Assistant Director for Employer Relations and then Associate Director for Employer Relations and Communication .
2009
Amanda “ Mimi ” Tinkler ( Bory ) and husband , Ryan , welcomed their first child , Ryan , Jr ., born on Dec . 18 , 2021 .
2010
Justine Woodburn ( Crutchfield ) first worked at Proctor & Gamble during her senior capstone internship and was hired as a full time researcher before she graduated . During her career she has participated in the development and launch of many well-known Tide products , most recently Tide for Baby .
2011
Chelsea Kratochvil ( Prendergast ) is a test and evaluation analyst for Joint Research and Development in Stafford , Va . She and her husband , Philip , are the parents of twin boys , Maxwell and Holden , born in Sept . 2020 .
Katie Remenapp ( Amos ) was promoted to the Vice President of Development at the American Heart Association .
2012
Elizabeth “ Beth ” Gleitsmann returned to SU in April as a guest lecturer in the School of Education . She shared presentations on “ Best Practices in Reading Instruction ” and “ Using Assistive Technology in the Classroom ."
Dr . Hugh Hayes ’ 12 ’ 13M is an Adjunct Professor of Forensic Science at SU , and was recently published in a National Institute of Standards and Technology publication detailing the work that went into developing a multivitamin standard reference material . This publication will be cited anytime someone uses the reference material for research in clinical trials and method development / validation for product testing . Hayes was the technical project lead on this for the past two years .
