Welcoming Our Newest Doctoral Students
On August 19 , Stevenson ’ s Doctoral program in Clinical Psychology ( Psy . D .) welcomed its second cohort of students for orientation as they begin to embark on their Psy . D . studies . Now in its second full year , the Psy . D . program is rooted in theory and research with particular attention to human diversity to help foster effective work with individuals and groups from a variety cultural backgrounds . In the second through fourth years of the program , students complete externships in clinical settings for 16-20 supervised hours per week . Our faculty are active scholarpractitioners and licensed clinical professionals working in broad , diverse areas such as adolescent development , depression and anxiety disorders , sport and performance psychology , and pastoral counseling .
The program is accepting applications for its Fall 2023 cohort and will be hosting a number of information sessions this fall for interested individuals .

D ., has been of the Sciences and Interim Dean of the Berman School of Nursing named Dean of the Howard S . Brown School of Business and and Health Professions , has been promoted to Senior Associate Leadership , and Matt Seiler ’ 08 has been named Director of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research overseeing Career Connection Center . Stevenson ’ s Office of Institutional Research and Assessment ( OIRA ), the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research ( OSPR ), In the Brown School of Business and Leadership , Professor the Office of International and Off-Campus Study ( IOCS ), the Takisha S . Toler will serve as the Program Coordinator for the Zirkin Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning ( ZCETL ), Marketing program , and Professor Holly M . Lenz-Schiller will the Learning Technology and Instructional Design ( LTID ) team , serve as the Program Coordinator for the Fashion Merchandising and the specialty scholars programs in Academic Affairs . and Healthcare Management programs .
Professor of Chemistry , Ellen M . Roskes , Ph . D ., has been promoted to Dean of the Fine School of the Sciences , and Education Professor Beth E . Kobett has been promoted to Associate Dean of the School of Education .
In the School of the Sciences , Professor Mark A . Branson will serve as the Chair of the Mathematics and Physics Department , and Professor Jeremy R . Burkett will serve as the Chair of the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department .
