due to rain . Four players were named All-MAC Commonwealth , with JJ Bonta and Larry Johnson III named to the first-team .
Nathan Williams qualified for both the Indoor Track and Outdoor Track and Field NCAA Championships this season , finishing 14th in the indoor weight throw , while competing in the discus and hammer throw in the outdoor championship . Cameron Summers won the 60 yard dash at the indoor championships , and the 100 meter dash at the outdoor championship . Williams was named the Field Athlete of the Year at the outdoor championship .
In addition to hosting the national championship , Men ’ s Volleyball had a strong season finishing 6-3 in the MAC . Four players were named to the All-MAC team , with Michael Dougherty being named the Defensive Player of the Year .

WOMEN ' S

HIGHLIGHTS

Mustang Acrobatics and Tumbling had five team members named to the NCATA Academic Honor Roll this season , as the team advanced to the NCATA DIII tournament against Mary Hardin Baylor . The Mustangs defeated Caldwell 186.660 to 113.350 to open the season .
Women ’ s Basketball player Maleah Smith was named to the All-MAC All- Sportsmanship Team . She started all 25 games and averaged 4.0 points per game while grabbing a team best 6.1 rebounds per game . The Mustangs finished 7-18 and 6-10 in the challenging MAC Commonwealth .
Women ' s Beach Volleyball finished third at the AVCA Small College Beach Championships this season , as Miranda Mueck and Rileigh Kimball were named AVCA Top Second Flight . The team also hosted the Stevenson Tri- Match over Easter Weekend , defeating Lynchburg and Berry .
