The first of our two MOOCs is a Work Readiness Programme, aimed
at our exit level students, as well as anyone who is interested in
topics such as Personal Branding, Social Media and Emotional
Intelligence.
The second MOOC focuses on Web & Digital Literacies and consists of
six learning units that are activity driven and designed to grow your
digital know-how and develop skills critical for the 21st century.
Both these MOOCs can be accessed via the VCLearn pl atform.
Support and training for VCLearn will be ongoing throughout your
academic journey with us.
A major contributing factor to the high pass rate at Varsity College
is the strong emphasis on learning and teaching excellence in the
classroom and new digital learning spaces. We see our lecturers as
interactive facilitators, guides, mentors and learning architects in
this learning process – there to support the personalised learning
needs of a diverse group of students through technology enhanced
learning and effective teaching practices.
