My Vaping Story pt . two

If I had to guess , I ’ ve probably spent about $ 700 on vaping supplies since I got started on January 12 . It should suffice to say that it ’ s going to be awhile before I hit the break-even point ... but I ’ m really not that far off .
I guess if you ’ re going to be a smoker , the Midwest is a good region to be hooked on analogs . At just over $ 5 a pack for analogs , the cost of entry into the world of vaping can seem prohibitive , especially for lower-income folks who don ’ t tend to plan their finances beyond the next paycheck . Most journalists fall into that category , so I ’ m not saying it to bash others who fit that description .
But , we know that vaping is cheaper in the long run . That ’ s one of the things I try to explain to people when I ’ m explaining my new habit and hobby . Sure , there are $ 250 PVs and $ 1-per-milliliter juices out there that can really eat a hole in your wallet . But they ’ re not necessary , and it doesn ’ t need to be that way for everyone . And , for most of the people I ’ ve convinced to give up smoking in favor of vaping , that ’ s been the case . A simple battery , a couple of cheap atties , a bottle of juice or two , and they ’ re good to go .
I take pride in the fact that I ’ ve gotten five people to give up smoking for vaping . Those are the ones that I know for sure about — there are certainly others who I ’ ve met once or twice who I know have looked into it after talking with me . Of
