INTERNATIONAL VANDERBILT POLITICAL REVIEW China’s one-child problem Revision to infamous one-child policy will have little real effect by MAX STALOFF ‘14 O n November 15th, 2013, China announced that it would begin to loosen restrictions on its notorious ‘one-child’ policy. According to The South China Morning Post, the new policy will allow couples to have a second child if either of the parents are themselves only children. Although this change can be seen as a step towards the end of one of the world’s most expans
