This marks FloWorks ’ third acquisition in the past year ,
following the December 2023 acquisition of thermoplastic flow control products distributor Simtech Industrial Products LLC , and the February 2024 acquisition of AWC ’ s Process Solutions Division , a Canadian pump , valve and rotating equipment distributor . FloWorks ’ product offerings and distribution channels , strengthening its position in the flow control market . The addition of Assured Automation ’ s expertise in valve automation and flow meters complements FloWorks ’ existing portfolio , enabling it to better serve customers across various industries .
Flowserve to acquire MOGAS Industries
Flowserve Corporation , a provider of flow control products and services , has signed an agreement to acquire MOGAS Industries for USD 290 million with a potential USD 15 million earnout . MOGAS Industries is a Houston-based provider of severe service valves and aftermarket services . The acquisition of MOGAS is expected to enhance Flowserve ’ s installed base and create aftermarket opportunities . Upon completion , MOGAS will be integrated into Flowserve ’ s Flow Control Division , adding
its strong brand , expertise and valve portfolio to Flowserve ’ s existing offerings . Flowserve anticipates the combined product portfolios will significantly benefit customers in the growing mining industry . The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2024 .
