IMI has secured a multi-million dollar contract to supply a valve package for the 1.5 GW Franklin Farms Power Station in Louisiana, a combined-cycle plant being developed to serve AI data centre infrastructure. Located at the Franklin Farms Megasite in northeast Louisiana, the project is being delivered by engineering, procurement, and construction( EPC) contractor Kiewit Corp. and comprises two combined-cycle units engineered for high efficiency and operational flexibility. IMI is supplying a turbine bypass system, attemperators, and a control valve package under a contract valued at over $ 3 million. These systems are intended to ensure plant responsiveness, safety, and efficiency, particularly where consistent power delivery and rapid operational control are required.

AMPO POYAM VALVES has been awarded a contract to supply cryogenic gate, globe, and check valves for the Power, Capture and Compression project in Teesside, UK. The Power, Capture and Compression( PCC) project forms part of the Net Zero Teesside( NZT) initiative, a full-chain carbon capture, utilisation and storage( CCUS) development in Teesside, North-East England. NZT is being developed in association with the Northern Endurance Partnership and aims to deliver the UK’ s first zero-carbon industrial cluster, targeting capture of up to 10 million tonnes of CO2 emissions per year from the Teesside and Humber industrial clusters. The project centres on a largescale combined-cycle gas turbine power generation plant equipped with a post-combustion carbon capture system. Abated power will be dispatched to the UK grid, while captured and conditioned CO2 will undergo high-pressure compression before feeding into an offshore pipeline for sequestration. The high-pressure compression system is sized at 4 MTPA and is also designed to accommodate CO2 from additional emitters within the local gathering network.
