KLINGER valves power La Défense
KLINGER Fluid Control ball valves are key to La Défense’ s energy upgrade, increasing efficiency and sustainability.
Idex La Défense, the operator of the district heating and cooling network for Europe’ s largest business district, La Défense in Paris, has embarked on a major upgrade to improve its energy infrastructure. With the construction of Metro Line No. 15 for the Grand Paris Express, Idex needed to relocate and expand its pipe diameters to improve network performance and serve a growing customer base. Key to the project are valves supplied by KLINGER Fluid Control, which were meticulously tested at the company’ s facility in Gumpoldskirchen, Austria, to ensure they met stringent specifications for safety, reliability, and durability specifications.
Oliver Valves supplies Inconel 625 DBB valves
Oliver Valves has completed the manufacture of a batch of 2” Class 1500 Inconel 625 full bore Double Block and Bleed( DBB) valves for a major Saudi Aramco pipeline project. The valves will be integrated into pipeline pig signalling equipment produced by GD Engineering, part of the Celeros Flow Technology group. Built to withstand high pressures and corrosive environments, these valves have been engineered in full compliance with all applicable Saudi Aramco specifications. As a long-standing approved ball valve manufacturer for Saudi Aramco, Oliver Valves continues to deliver highintegrity solutions for some of the most demanding applications in the energy sector. Each valve is manufactured from Inconel 625, a nickel-based alloy known for its strength and exceptional resistance to chloride pitting and crevice corrosion. This makes it ideally suited for the harsh conditions often encountered in pipeline systems throughout the Middle East. The valves feature a full bore DBB design, allowing for safe, verifiable isolation – a critical requirement for pigging operations and other maintenance activities. With Class 1500 pressure ratings, they offer robust performance under pressure, without compromise. This latest project highlights Oliver Valves’ continued commitment to delivering Britishengineered valve solutions to customers across the globe, supporting vital infrastructure projects with trusted quality and performance.

Major valve order from international pharmaceutical company
The KSB Group’ s Luxembourgbased SISTO Armaturen S. A. has received an order for about 2000 valves from a global pharmaceutical company. The valves are intended for a newly built large-scale production plant in Germany, where the customer produces active pharmaceutical ingredients( API) as well as intermediate products. The new building project is an important step for the company in extending its capacities for API production. Special requirements regarding process reliability and emission control were specified for the valves. Compliance with the German Technical Guidelines on Air Quality( TA-Luft 12.2021) has to be ensured, and all wetted components have to conform to FDA standards. Decisive aspects for winning the order were the specification-compliant design of the products and their high availability for delivery.
