Atlas Copco completes acquisition of Kracht GmbH
Kracht GmbH has officially become part of the Atlas Copco Group . A manufacturer of several technologies , including external gear pumps , fluid measurement , valves , hydraulic drives , and dosing systems , Kracht joins Atlas Copco with a global footprint . The company ’ s headquarters are based in Werdhol , Germany , with its subsidiaries spanning the US , China , and Hungary . Kracht
has around 440 employees to operate these locations . Atlas Copco first announced its intention to acquire Kracht in December 2023 . At the time , Andrew Walker , President of Atlas Copco ’ s power technique business area , said the industrial pump segment would be a strategic fit for the group . Kracht is now part of the Power and Flow Divisions within Atlas Copco ’ s power technique business area .
