TEADIT ® PL 100 gasket receives IGR approval
TEADIT ® PL 100 gasket sheet has been added to the Interest Group for Technical Regulations ( IGR ) approved products list for chemical and pharmaceutical applications . The material , manufactured from virgin Polytetrafluoroethylene ( PTFE ) resin with hollow glass micro spheres , serves as an alternative to TFM 4105 . The universal gasket material features high mechanical strength and stress retention , with bidirectional fibrillation addressing creep relaxation and cold flow issues common in skived or moulded PTFE sheets . Its malleability
eliminates the need for sealing area repairs . Chemically inert against aggressive acids and lyes , PL 100 joins TEADIT 28 LS-LE on the IGR list . The IGR , established in 2007 , facilitates knowledge sharing and development among chemical and pharmaceutical industry companies .
