Despite calls to reduce plastic use , demand for plastics continues to rise as global population numbers increase . Some media present in a propane dehydrogenation process are also highly flammable .” Valves also ensure efficient recovery of hydrogen sulphide through molecular sieve beds . Lack of satisfactory hydrogen sulphide recovery may poison downstream catalysts or damage equipment , making proper valve performance essential to ensure that process uptime and efficiency can be maximised .
