Get set for IOT and SCADA controlled valves
Continuing our build-up to the FCE 2022 India show later this year , VWIME journal spoke to Mr . Zaheen Valiulla from Aira Euro Automation Ltd . At the event in Mumbai , he is expecting significant end user and valve community interest in the company ’ s extensive range of flow control products all of which will be on display at the exhibition .

Quarter-turn valves , pneumatic actuators and a wide range of associated automation devices are the main focus area for Aira Euro Automation . These items are all engineered and manufactured in-house , for sale to a discerning customer base as individual items or as fully-assembled and tested automated valves . Elaborating on the valve products , Director-Global Strategy , Mr . Valiulla stated that : “ we provide designs including ball valves , butterfly valves , plug valves and control valves in a wide array of sizes , pressure classes and configurations . For example , butterfly valve options include centric , offset disc and triple offset discs . Moreover , we can provide valves in very large sizes , such as butterfly valves for use in the water sector .” However , the company ’ s expertise does not stop with quarter-turn valves . Responding to an increased demand from the water sector , for example , Aira Euro Automation has recently developed and introduced a range of Knife Gate Valves . Asked about current developments impacting the flow control industry , Mr . Valiulla noted that in India both the power sector as well as the iron and steel industry are booming , creating excellent opportunities for proven manufacturers . Other important , stable markets include utilities such as water and irrigation , as well as the process industries sector including chemical plants , pharmaceuticals and food and beverage producers . As might be expected , thanks to its quality products Aira Euro Automation has established a strong customer base throughout India . However , Mr . Valiulla is quick to confirm that the company also has a successful export business , thanks to its widespread distribution network .

Turning his attention to the upcoming Flow Control Exchange 2022 India event , Mr . Valiulla said the location in Mumbai was the perfect spot to attract end user visitors from the numerous processing plants and other sectors in the immediate vicinity . This is also a great platform to connect with the valve community . “ This was in fact one of our recommendations to the organizers . After all , Mumbai is home to a huge and thriving industrial hub so an event here makes it easier for end users of valves to attend .” Given the large variety of process plants in and around Mumbai , Aira Euro Automation therefore plans to showcase its entire range of valves and actuators at FCE 2022 . Asked if he was expecting heightened interest in any specific products , Mr . Valiulla commented : “ I believe we will be receiving quite some inquiries about automated valves that can be readily integrated into SCADA and PLC systems . This is definitely a trend in the industry right now .” Whatever their background , all visitors are assured of a warm welcome at Aira Euro Automation ’ s booth , commented Mr .
