Tencarva Machinery Company Acquires Fischer Process Industries
Tencarva Machinery Company , the Southeast ’ s premier value-added distributor of flow control and process equipment solutions and services to the industrial and municipal end-markets , announced that it has acquired Fischer Process Industries , a leading distributor of pumps , valves and process equipment . Fischer Process ’ s existing management team , including President Ken Fischer , will remain with the company . Tencarva is a portfolio company of Bessemer Investors LLC , a New York-based investment firm . Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed .
Ed Pearce , President of Tencarva , said , “ Fischer Process Industries has a long track record of success , a skilled management team and strong service capabilities . The partnership brings the addition of valves to Tencarva ’ s product line and gives us access to new markets in Indiana , Kentucky and Ohio while bolstering our presence in Georgia . Wajax Corporation announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary , Tundra Process Solutions Ltd . has acquired the valve business of Powell Canada Inc . Specializing in valve sales , service and support , Powell Valve employs a team of thirty-eight and operates facilities in Edmonton , Fort McMurray and Lloydminster , Alberta .
Commenting on the acquisition , Iggy Domagalski , President and Chief Executive Officer of Wajax , stated “ The addition of three new valve servicing and repair locations , plus a team of highly skilled technicians , will help accelerate the growth of Tundra ’ s core business .” Added Ash Allers , Chief Executive Officer of Tundra , “ The acquisition adds substantially to Tundra ’ s valve servicing capabilities , including field-level support , and increases our geographic reach . Valmet Appoints CFO
Ms . Katri Hokkanen ( M . Sc . Econ ) has been appointed CFO at Valmet as of August 1 , 2022 . She will report to President and CEO Pasi Laine . Katri Hokkanen has worked as Valmet ’ s interim CFO since May 1 , 2022 .
Katri Hokkanen began her career at Valmet in 2006 . Prior to holding the interim CFO position , she worked as Vice President , Finance in Valmet ’ s Pulp and Energy business line in 2017 – 2022 and led the finance operations in Valmet ’ s Asia- Pacific Area organization in 2015 – 2017 and in the EMEA services business in 2013 – 2015 .
