Valmet Enhances Sofidel America’ s Ultra-Premium Tissue Production with New Advantage ThruAir Line
Sofidel America will invest in Valmet’ s Advantage ThruAir tissue line that will provide the company with a full scope of supply, including a complete production line, an automation package, flow control, and industrial internet solutions.
The investment was made by Sofidel to meet the growing demand of ultra-premium tissue products and expand its production capacity of tissue products for the North American market. The company operates 14 production sites across 11 U. S. states and the collaboration between the companies spans more than three decades.
“ With this new, significant investment, we are putting down even stronger roots in the United States, improving our ability to meet customer demand and further enhancing our capacity to supply first-quality products through TAD technology,” said Luigi Lazzareschi, CEO of Sofidel.
Petrobras Awards Halliburton Deepwater Contracts in Brazil
Halliburton has announced that Petrobras awarded the company multiple contracts to provide vessel stimulation, intelligent completions, and safety valves in Brazil’ s deepwater fields after a competitive process.
In the Búzios oil field, Halliburton will deploy its Smart- Well ® intelligent completion technology to enable real-time reservoir management and actionable insights to optimize production. For the Séepia and Atapu fields, they will provide EcoStar ® electric tubing retrievable safety valves( eTRSV) to improve safety and efficiency.
Additionally, Halliburton’ s Stim Star Brazil, tailored for Petrobras activity, will deliver stimulation services to focus on reservoir productivity and improve asset performance.
The contracts are expected to begin in 2026 and underscore Halliburton’ s expertise and focus on delivering comprehensive solutions tailored for challenging offshore operations. Through its long-standing collaboration with Petrobras, Halliburton plays an important role in the advancement of Brazil’ s offshore oil and gas industry.
Teadit Celebrates New Facility in India
Teadit hosted its Annual Distributor Event to celebrate the opening of a new facility in Vadodara, India. Titled Our Partnership in Success, the event brought together company leadership, top distributors, partners, staff members and key representatives over the course of two days.
The highlight of Day One was a gala dinner that served as the ideal platform for the Teadit global leadership team, local staff, and distributors to network and connect. The evening offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen relations while discussing future plans centered on the facility.
Day Two followed with several key presentations. These included business and plant overviews in addition to an exclusive tour of the facility. The program continued with presentations on sales strategy, product information, training, and market overviews.
The event concluded with an Awards Ceremony where Teadit representatives honored distributors for their outstanding support and partnership.
