Honeywell Supports Dangote for Large-Scale Petrochemical Expansion
Honeywell has recently announced that it will provide petrochemical process technologies and catalysts to Nigeria-based Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE to generate large-scale productions of plastics and detergents.
The agreement will strengthen the region’ s energy security by reducing reliance on imports, stimulating industrial growth, and strengthening regional supply chains.
Among the technologies that Honeywell will deliver is its UOP’ s Oleflex, which will produce 750,000 metric tons of propylene annually to support the manufacturing of packaging materials, consumer goods, and industrial products.
