Valmet Strengthens its Flow Control Presence in Australia
In a move to provide additional benefits and flow control services to it customers in Australia, Valmet has opened a new service center and manufacturing unit in Sydney. The initiative marks the company’ s efforts to increase its efforts on the region’ s pulp & paper, mining & metals, refining, chemicals, and renewable energy sectors.

Announced mid-April, the service center aims to deliver a full scope of flow control services, including covering replacements and maintenance for valves, pumps, and third-party equipment. Additionally, according to Valmet, the facility will provide faster delivery of parts, as well as optimal service through the support of its local engineering capabilities. The facility will also operate as a customer training and testing center.
" By bringing our flow control services closer to customers, we will help them improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability across their operations," says Henri Huovinen, Vice President, Flow Control Asia Pacific market area, Valmet.
Grundfos Expands U. S. Manufacturing with Dosing Skid Production
Grundfos’ new dosing skid system production line at its Fresno, California, facility, is an initiative that the company explained will simplify the supply chain, improve production flow, and align manufacturing with customers across the Americas.
The production line will expand its manufacturing footprint and strengthen its focus on solutions for the water treatment market. The line is in the same facility where the company manufactures pumps and systems, which will create a more streamlined end-to-end production process at the Fresno facility.
It also represents an important next step in the ongoing development of its Fresno site that has long been a central hub for industry production in the U. S.
Additionally, the move strengthens customer centricities while supporting upgraded production capabilities and closer alignment with how customers expect to be served.
