Cold Box Applications

Cold boxes, used in extreme chemical processes, house several components including heat exchangers, piping, and valves, operating at temperatures that range from-175 ° F to as low as-452 ° F.
“ Our ENVIRO-SEAL packing mitigates leakage as much as possible and meets ISO 15848-1 standards in many of its applications,” explained Leslie.“ We ensure that we meet all the requirements necessary for a customer’ s application and have so far worked hand-in-hand with many of them already, ensuring that we ' ve built and dimensioned the IC2 for their specific cold box applications.”
Making the IC2 even more applicable for cold boxes is its top entry design. With easy disassembly of the top part of the valve, end users and facility operators can simply access, service, and / or replace internal parts, resulting in less downtime, simplified service, and reduced emissions.
Further convenience is provided by a modular stem assembly and independently replaceable components, including the bellows, valve plug, and seat ring. The IC2 is available in line sizes from 1” to 4”( DN25 to DN100), with additional options to be introduced in the near future. •
